National Network of Depression Centers

Centers of Excellence

The National Network of Depression Centers is currently comprised of 20 member institutions. Each meets rigorous Center of Excellence criteria. Specifically:

• Each is part of an academic institution with leading experts in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of depression and bipolar illness. Those experts are actively pursuing initiatives in education, research, clinical care delivery and community outreach.
• Each is committed to engaging in interdisciplinary collaborations both within their home institutions and across the network. 
• Each currently houses or is in the process of establishing a comprehensive depression center.

By uniting these Centers of Excellence in a collaborative network, the strongest players in the field grow stronger, combining unparalleled expertise and fully leveraging available resources to advance the state-of-the-science in the field of mood disorders.
